- The "touchscreen bug." Activities that require
rapid, accurate taps (like typing), misfire when performed too fast and
cause phantom taps in the middle of the display. When typing quickly,
the keyboard will either register the keypresses as a swipe, or not
register the letters at all (depending on the keyboard, of course). More
info in the Display section below.
- Poor Wi-Fi performance. It's fine if you're right next to the router. Move to the other end of the house, however, and it's a whole different story.
- Bulky for a tablet of this form factor. It's thicker and
heavier than I expected for a tablet this size. It's still manageable
and pretty easy to get used to, but it caught me off guard.
- 1GB of RAM. Ugh. Why, HP? Why? 2GB would've really put this tablet over the top. Dammit.
- Android 4.2.2. At what point in time did
manufacturers get stuck on 4.2.2? Seems like so many devices are still
coming out with it. Time to bump up to 4.4, people. Make haste
